MANUFACTURE ALABAMA ENDORSES GARY PALMER FOR RE-ELECTION TO CONGRESS
MONTGOMERY—Manufacture Alabama is proud to announce its endorsement of Congressman Gary Palmer for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. Congressman Palmer is running in the special primary election for Alabama's Sixth Congressional District scheduled for Tuesday, August 11th.
"Congressman Palmer has been a consistent advocate for Alabama’s manufacturers," said Jon Barganier, president and CEO of Manufacture Alabama. "He understands the importance of maintaining a strong business climate through regulatory certainty, competitive tax policy, workforce development and reliable infrastructure. His proven leadership is widely respected both in Alabama and Washington, D.C. and his time in Congress has helped ensure manufacturers are in the best position for continued job growth and further investments."
“I’m proud to have the endorsement of Manufacture Alabama heading into August 11th,” said Congressman Palmer. “Alabama manufacturers don't ask for much. They want a level playing field, reliable energy, and a government that stays out of their way. That's exactly what I've fought for in Washington and exactly what I'll keep fighting for. Their jobs are real. Their investments are real. And my commitment to them is real.”
Congressman Palmer has built a strong record of supporting policies that promote economic growth, strengthen domestic manufacturing and encourage private sector investment. Throughout his time in Congress, he has worked to reduce unnecessary regulations, support energy reliability and advocate for a competitive environment that allows manufacturers and the general business community to succeed.
Congressman Palmer joins former Congressman Jerry Carl (CD1) and State Representative Rhett Marques (CD2) as Manufacture Alabama endorsed candidates in the upcoming August 11th special primary election.
