Manufacture Alabama announces its endorsement of Caroleene Dobson for Alabama’s Congressional District 2.

The Alabama Iron and Steel Council (AISC), an affiliate of Manufacture Alabama, is pleased to announce Phil Goodwin as its new chairman. Goodwin, the Director of Sales Operations and Government Affairs for U.S. Pipe & Foundry Co., brings 28 years of industry experience and a deep commitment to the iron and steel sector in Alabama.

Manufacture Alabama is pleased to announce several updates to its Board of Directors, including the election of two new members, Donna Jackson (International Paper) and Craig Savage (Airbus). The Board of Directors has also approved the nomination of Karen Johnston (Toyota North America) to the role of Vice Chairman.

The Manufacture Alabama Board of Directors announced today that Jon Barganier has been selected as the organization’s next President and CEO. Barganier joined Manufacture Alabama in August 2020 as Chief Operating Officer and has worked in Alabama state government and politics since 2006.

Manufacture Alabama and the Alabama Pulp and Paper Council (APPCO) are pleased to announce that attorney Schuyler Espy has been named the next APPCO Executive Director. Espy will replace Roy McAuley who is retiring at the end of the year, after nearly 21 years with the Council.
