Space Day 2025
Space Day 2025
Tuesday, February 25, 2025 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (CST)
Description
NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, and aerospace industry partners will host their annual Space Day at the State Capitol on February 25, 2025.
Alabama Space Day is a public event in Montgomery, organized by volunteers and industry sponsors. The purpose of this event is to celebrate Alabama’s robust aerospace contributions and capabilities, which provide significant economic benefits for the entire state. It also aims to promote and support the future development of this critical industry.
Space Day features participation from numerous government and commercial organizations from within the state and beyond. A key focus of the event is to support and promote critical workforce development across the state, particularly in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
In addition to industry and government participation, we will showcase academic aerospace activities through partnerships with AIAA student sections and the Alabama Space Grant Consortium. K-12 students are invited to participate in astronaut chats, lawn activities, and exhibits.
We encourage everyone interested in Alabama’s aerospace industry to join us at the Alabama Capitol.
