ADEM Hazardous Waste Training

Description

The Compliance and Enforcement Section of the Industrial Hazardous Waste will be hosting a Compliance Assistance Meeting for members of Manufacture Alabama. 

The Department plans to address the following topics:

  • What to Expect During an Inspection
    • The hazardous waste inspection process and most common violations discovered at facilities.
  • Regulatory Updates
    • A discussion of recent and upcoming regulatory changes.
  • Waste Disposal
    • A discussion on the types of waste that require waste certifications.
  • Using RCRAInfo for 8700-12 Submission and Biennial Reporting
    • Discuss the process for notification of regulated activity.
  • Open Forum Discussion
    • To address additional questions or concerns.
